The Timbers Swim and Tennis Club (TST) hopes to continue the tradition of providing excellent facilities, adding value to our subdivision, fostering a sense of community, and having a lot of fun! Everyone that lives in the Timber Ridge neighborhood benefits when this important community asset is properly maintained. Your membership is vital to our continued success.
Our best form of advertising is word-of-mouth, so please spread the word to your family and friends nearby. As we are a Swim and Tennis Club (not an HOA), everyone is welcome, and anyone can join.

- A Pavilion Reservation Contract is required if a member brings more than nine (9) guests. Members will be liable and responsible for any damage within or around the TST facilities. Guests may only use the facilities if they are accompanied by a member.
- No reservations on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Opening or Closing Days.
- Members will respect pavilion reservations and allow parties to take place without interference.
- Homeowners of Timber Ridge, who have moved out of the subdivision and rented their Timber Ridge home, may not use TST facilities without a paid membership. Families who are renting a home in Timber Ridge may become a TST member upon a paid TST membership. Members and their guests shall comply with all local codes and regulations applicable to pool use, including health and sanitation codes. - NO GLASS CONTAINERS PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES. If in violation, the Gwinnett County Inspector could shut down the pool for an extended length of time.
- Cans, unbreakable containers, and coolers are permitted in the marked areas on the pool deck. Given that we are a family neighborhood, the TST Board requests that cans be placed in an insulated sleeve, such as a Koozie. We do not and cannot condone the use of alcohol on TST premises. No alcoholic beverages will be sold or distributed by the TST Board or any of its membership. The Board chooses not to inspect beverages.
- The Board has the authority to address infractions of the rules or misbehavior on the premises. Discipline may include verbal warnings, suspension of privileges, or ejection from the facilities. If a child must be suspended or ejected, the parent(s) will be notified. The Board reserves the right to restrict facility use of any individual whose behavior endangers the safety and well-being of others. Repeated infractions will be addressed by the Board and could result in revocation of membership with no refunds of membership fees.

2025 Welcome Letter
We hope that everyone enjoyed the offseason and is eagerly anticipating the arrival of warmer weather as we prepare to dive into the 2025 pool season! As highlighted during the Fall Open Board Meeting, we are still in our multi-year repayment plan for the 2023 tiling and replastering of the pool. Our pool maintenance contract is also increasing by 7% this year because of higher labor rates and costs of supplies.
We still have a goal of building $5,000 in reserve funds for unexpected costs and future refurbishments and updates, such as pool loungers, security cameras and facility cleaning services. Below you can find our 2025 Projected Costs based on estimates received and historicals.
| CATEGORY | ESTIMATED COSTS | PERCENT |
| Taxes | $ 855 | 2% |
| Business | $ 1,695 | 4% |
| Repair | $ 2,550 | 5% |
| Insurance | $ 4,173 | 9% |
| Maintenance | $ 10,164 | 21% |
| Utilities | $ 7,118 | 15% |
| Services | $ 21,221 | 44% |
| TOTAL | $47,776 |
As operating costs continue to increase year over year, we assess the estimated costs to determine how the membership fees are structured. To maintain the facilities and to keep up with the cost increases for services, the 2025 household membership fee is $560. The Senior rate is $385, and all persons in a household must be 65 years or older. We will continue to offer a $50 Early-Bird Discount through March 31.
New for 2025, we are accepting monthly payments from January to May at the Early-Bird Rate of $510 per household ($335 Senior Early Bird). Split your membership fee into five easy payments of $102 ($67 Senior). Monthly payments can be made by check or Zelle®. Add your mailing address in the memo. You must start the monthly payment plan before the Early Bird Discount ends to receive the Early Bird Rate. All monthly payments must be paid by Saturday, May 10, 2025.
As a reminder, there are no lifeguards on duty at the pool. Each household is given one key upon full payment and expected to follow the pool rules that you have read and signed. The pool opens on Saturday, May 17th and closes Sunday, September 14th. The pool opens at 7am every day and closes at 10pm Sunday through Thursday and at 11pm Friday and Saturday. The 2025 Rules are on our website. A paper copy is available upon request. They will also be posted on the message board at the pavilion throughout the pool season.
Our goal for 2025 is to bring our community together and have fun! We are trying something new and pre-planning the year in hopes that everyone will make room in their calendars for neighborhood events. Though some dates may change due to availability of the pavilion, the below dates are our goal timing for these fun neighborhood-wide activities! We would love to have volunteers help with planning events and get our activities committee back in full swing in 2025! If you are interested in helping and coordinating activities for 2025 please contact Charley Machicote via email at charleymachicote@gmail.com. We are looking forward to a fun-filled year!
As always, please email the TST Board with any concerns, questions, feedback, or ideas you may have. We look forward to a wonderful pool season!
