Pool Rules
- Once you turn in your application and payment, expect a 3-day response time on all application and key pick-up correspondence. If we do not receive both your application and payment, we will not be able to grant you access to the pool.
- Pool membership payments are NON-REFUNDABLE.
- There are no lifeguards or TST provided supervision. Members and their guests “use the facilities and swim at their own risk”. The Board does not assume responsibility.
- A member is allowed to bring up to nine (9) non-resident guests on any given day. A non-member resident of any neighborhood from which we draw members cannot use the facilities as a guest.
- A Pavilion Reservation Contract is required if a member brings more than nine (9) guests. Members will be liable and responsible for any damage within or around the TST facilities. Guests may only use the facilities if they are accompanied by a member.
- No reservations on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Opening or Closing Days.
- Members will respect pavilion reservations and allow parties to take place without interference.
- Homeowners of Timber Ridge, who have moved out of the subdivision and rented their Timber Ridge home, may not use TST facilities without a paid membership. Families who are renting a home in Timber Ridge may become a TST member upon a paid TST membership. Members and their guests shall comply with all local codes and regulations applicable to pool use, including health and sanitation codes. No member may use the pool or pool area in a manner that, along with the discretion of the TST Board, creates a nuisance or unreasonable disturbance to other pool members.
- Entering the pool area and/or swimming in the pool are prohibited when the pool is closed.
- NO GLASS CONTAINERS PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES. If in violation, the Gwinnett County Inspector could shut down the pool for an extended length of time.
- Food and drinks are permitted only in designated areas. FOOD AND DRINKS ARE NOT ALLOWED WITHIN 10 FEET OF THE POOL OR IN THE POOL. Chewing gum is prohibited within the fenced area.
- Clean up after yourself. Trash receptacles are provided. The Board is not responsible for cleaning up after you or your guest(s). Leave the facilities neat, clean, and tidy when you, your family, and your guests depart the TST property.
- Cans, unbreakable containers, and coolers are permitted in the marked areas on the pool deck. Given that we are a family neighborhood, the TST Board requests that cans be placed in an insulated sleeve, such as a Koozie. We do not and cannot condone the use of alcohol on TST premises. No alcoholic beverages will be sold or distributed by the TST Board or any of its membership. The Board chooses not to inspect beverages.
- The Board has the authority to address infractions of the rules or misbehavior on the premises. Discipline may include verbal warnings, suspension of privileges, or ejection from the facilities. If a child must be suspended or ejected, the parent(s) will be notified. The Board reserves the right to restrict facility use of any individual whose behavior endangers the safety and well-being of others. Repeated infractions will be addressed by the Board and could result in revocation of membership with no refunds of membership fees.
- Profanity, improper behavior, intoxication, and vulgar or excessively loud remarks are prohibited.
- Bicycles, skates, and skateboards are not allowed in the pool area, pavilion, tennis court, or grassy playground area.
- Proper swimming attire is required when using the pool. No cutoffs or street clothes.
- Persons with open sores, rashes, or communicable diseases are not allowed in the pool area.
- Spitting or spouting of water is prohibited.
- There is an increased risk of injury while swimming unsupervised. Therefore, as a precautionary safety measure, children fifteen (15) years of age or younger must be always accompanied by an adult and must remain within 10 feet of the child unless the child is capable of swimming unassisted 35 feet non-stop.
- Smoking and vaping are allowed in designated areas only. Smoking and vaping are not allowed in the pool itself.
- Pets are not allowed on TST property.
- Infants and young children not yet toilet trained must wear swim diapers and swim covers, which meet the Gwinnett County health codes and ordinances, when using the facility. No exceptions.
- Keep our restrooms tidy. Gwinnett County will periodically inspect our facility during the pool season to ensure that we are complying with health code regulations.
- No diving at any time.
- Each member has a responsibility to follow the rules of membership. Questions concerning these rules should be directed to the TST Board prior to membership enrollment.
